Hi, hello! Thank you for this question, which I would be delighted to answer!
I lived in Chicago from roughly 2008 to 2010. To be more specific than necessary, it was from May 2008 to August 2010. I had been job hunting for the larger portion of 2010 and nothing was coming to fruition. I was more-than-seriously considering moving to Seattle (the city of residence of my dearest friend) when a job opportunity came up in New York, which I promptly accepted. I was in New York three weeks later.
And despite the caption on that photo, my time in Chicago, on the whole, was one of the best, best, best times in my life. (Also, I know that I don’t know you, but I have a sneaking suspicion that our paths may have crossed, or come very close to crossing, at one point or another. Did I just make this weird again?)
